'Open Up On Jega Bribery Claims'; ACN tells PDP

The Action Congress of Nigeria has called on the Peoples Democratic Party to open up on the allegation that political parties were budgeting money to bribe security agencies and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission. INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega,had raised the alarm that political parties usually earmarked funds to bribe INEC and security agents during election periods.

Sack Okupe Now, ACN Tells Jonathan

The Action Congress of Nigeria has asked President Goodluck Jonathan to fire his newly appointed Senior Special assistant on public affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, hand him over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for immediate prosecution, and in addition apologise to Nigerians for appointing a person with an alleged criminal past as the nation’s public affairs spokesperson.

ACN Decries Murder of Its Akwa Ibom State Spokesman’s Mother And Brother

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has condemned the gruesome murder of Mrs. Erasmus Effanga and Mr. Basil Effanga, the mother and brother respectively of its Akwa Ibom State spokesman, Francis Effanga.
