Lagos State Blocks Facebook and Twitter On its Server

Lagos State Government has restricted the use of social media with the government internet server within the State Secretariat, Alausa. A staff who lamented the situation said they only got to know about it after trying for several hours to connect to Facebook account on Monday.

Fashola bars NURTW from motor Parks

In what seems to be a fight back, the Lagos State Government has banned the operations of members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, in motor parks across the State. Making this known at a news conference on the new Traffic Law in Lagos, Commissioner for Transportation, Kayode Opeifa said collection of tolls from motorists along the road by any union has also been banned.
